I currently work with cancer patients, and continue to advance my knowledge to work with other conditions. I have also volunteered at Western Michigan University's School of Medicine at the Charles VanRipen Unified Clinics for 5 years to work with stroke patients and their caregivers.

In 2006 I had gastric bypass surgery and have successfully kept 93 pounds off for over 10 years.  I am no poster child for gastric bypass but I know Yoga has helped me to be successful in many aspects of my life, not just the "eating and keeping it off" department.

As we are an aging population, yoga is a great tool to keep us healthy.  If you can breathe, you can do yoga!  My classes offer gentle yet powerful insight into the infinite nuances of the body, mind, and breath with opportunities to explore and link these qualities within.  The results are a personal experience of joyfulness, peace and a balance throughout the whole being.

Come and join me.  Yoga poses can be modified to fit ANY abilities.  How cool is that???

If my class schedule does not meet your needs, you can contact me personally and we can work out private or semi-private arrangements.
